Regulation 213/91 requires all construction workers who may be exposed to a fall hazard to be trained in fall protection. This includes anyone who works on, or visits a construction site (pricing below).

All supervisors must be trained to understand their responsibilities under the occupational health and safety act. Ontario courts have been convicting employers for failing to provide adequate training for supervisors. This course will be useful to anyone who wishes to become more familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and regulations 213/91 for construction projects (pricing below).

ELECTRICAL SAFETY for ELECTRICAL WORKERS (Arc Flash & Lock and Tag)

This course is designed for the trained electrical worker including; electricians, electrical and mechanical engineers, elevator technicians, mechanical workers, service technicians and any other worker trained how to work with electricity.

Ontario TSSA Regulations. 211/01, 215/01 and CSA Propane Storage and Handling Code B149.2-05   requires any worker who installs, connects, operates or handles propane cylinders or fuelled appliances, to be properly trained. Regulations require propane training to be updated every 3 years (pricing below).

WHMIS: $85.00* per participant

Fall Protection: $85.00* per participant

WHMIS & Fall Protection: Combined cost is $150.00* per participant

Green Book: $150.00* per participant

WHMIS, Fall Protection & Green Book: Combined cost is $250.00* per Participant

WHMIS or Fall Protection Review: $60 each or $100 combined cost. per Participant

Propane: $85.00* per participant

Natural Gas: $85.00* per participant

Propane & Natural Gas: Combined cost is $150.00* per participant

Stilts Safety: $150 per participant or $1,200 for class of 10

Confined Space Entry: $1250  Class up to 10 participants

Electrical Safety for Electrical Workers (Arc Flash and Lock & Tag) $125 per Participant

Electrical safety (Non electrical workers); $85 per participant

 

* HST extra, all prices are per participant.

 

All payment must be received in full prior to training. A company cheque is acceptable on the morning of the training.

Cambridge Training will be held at the Cambridge Holiday Inn @ 200  Holiday Inn Drive, on the dates scheduled above.

Hamilton Training will be held at the Admiral Inn @ 149 Dundurn St N. Hamilton, on the dates scheduled above.

Mississauga Training will be held at the Monte Carlo Inn @ 5 Derry Road East, Mississauga, on the scheduled dates above.

*Terms and Conditions

  • Payment must be received in full prior to training. Company cheque is acceptable on the morning of training
  • HST extra on all prices, prices are per person
  • Make payments payable to: BuildSafe or Construction Safety Services Inc.
  • Wallet size training cards and records of training (ROT's) will be issued for successful participants
  • Price includes training materials
  • Written Quotes are valid for 60 days
  • Rates subject to change without prior notice
  • Discounts are available to contractors who require 10+ participants to be trained
  • Contractors with *8+ participants can schedule a specific date and time for training  8 participant minimum charge applies to Waterloo Region and Guelph area. A 10 participant minimum charge applies to Hamilton, Mississauga, Woodstock, Milton, Oakville. A 12 participant minimum charge would apply to Toronto, London, Barrie and Niagara
  • Training times are Monday to Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Confirmations will be sent 3 days prior to training
  • An interest rate of 2.5 % per month is charged on all invoices over 30 days
  • A $50.00 service charge will apply to all NSF cheques
  • Construction Safety Services Inc. does not assume any liability for any workers trained. It is each employer, supervisor, and workers responsibility to work in accordance with the occupational health and safety act and safe work practices. Written materials are provided to all participants, it is strongly advised that all participants read the written materials provided within one week of training
