Green Book Training
This area of training is often overlooked. This is not a regulated program but
employers have been charged and fined for not ensuring supervisors and workers
are familiar with the provisions contained within. This program is an excellent
way for employers to ensure supervisors and workers are trained to understand
their responsibilities under the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
This program will be of value to all Health & Safety
Representatives, Workers, Supervisors, Project Managers, Company Owners and
anyone else who would like to become more familiar with the OHSA
As a minimum requirement Supervisors are the company’s
representative on site, and should be trained as such. The Act specifies that
employers must appoint a competent person as supervisor, one of
the 3 items making a person competent, is familiarity and knowledge of the act
and regulations. This program will give you that knowledge.
